Private, full-fee clients can generally book a psychology appointment without a GP referral. To claim a Medicare rebate, eligible clients need a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan—often called a Mental Health Care Plan—and a referral from an eligible medical practitioner. Please speak with your GP and confirm your referral and Medicare eligibility before attending.

Embracing Me Collective offers fully bulk-billed psychology appointments with no gap fee for eligible clients, subject to availability and applicable referral or funding requirements. The practice also works with Medicare, private health insurance, DVA, WorkCover, the QPS Self-Refer Network and private full-fee clients. Coverage, eligibility and approval requirements vary between clients and funding providers, so please contact the practice before booking.

Telehealth psychology appointments are available for returning clients when online care is considered suitable. Telehealth sessions run for approximately 50–60 minutes and cost $200. Any applicable funding, referral or rebate eligibility should be confirmed with the practice before booking.

The current private, full-fee psychology consultation is $200. Eligible clients attending with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan may receive a Medicare rebate of $101.55, resulting in an estimated out-of-pocket cost of $98.45. Medicare rebates and eligibility requirements can change, so please confirm the applicable fee and rebate with the practice before your appointment.
