A little about me

Hi, I’m Megz,

I’m a psychologist, but first and foremost, I’m a person who genuinely believes everyone deserves to feel comfortable being themselves.

After almost 20 years of walking alongside children, young people and women through some of life’s hardest moments, I’ve learned that healing isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about finding your way back to who you’ve always been.

I’m especially passionate about supporting girls and women navigating eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem and life’s messy in-between chapters.

My hope is to create a space where you can take off the armour.

Where you don’t need to have the perfect words.

Where you feel seen, heard and safe enough to explore what’s happening beneath the surface — without judgement.

Because therapy should feel human.

And you deserve a space where all of you is welcome.

And outside the therapy room?

You’ll usually find me with a Pilates class booked, planning my next wellness day, driving my EV Betty, listening to Taylor Swift, chasing sunsets or finding joy in the little things.

I’m definitely a rose-gold-and-blush-pink kind of girl.

And I believe there’s something powerful about learning to live for the small moments of hope, too.

Embracing Me Collective isn’t simply the name of my practice.

It’s a reminder that healing doesn’t require perfection.

It means learning to embrace every part of who you are with courage, compassion and kindness.

So whether you’re taking your very first step or finding your way back to yourself, I’m glad you’re here.

Here’s to embracing you.

My Approach

Evidence-based care. Genuine human connection.

Good psychological care needs more than clinical knowledge.

It also needs trust.

At Embracing Me Collective, I bring together evidence-based psychological practice with a warm, collaborative and deeply compassionate approach.

That means taking the time to understand not only what you’re experiencing, but you — your story, your strengths, your relationships, your experiences and what matters most to you.

Our work together may involve developing practical psychological skills, understanding patterns, processing difficult experiences, strengthening emotional regulation or rebuilding your relationship with yourself.

But underneath all of it is one belief:

You are more than the things you’re
struggling with.
